HOW TO PERFORM
- Stand holding a bar weighted at one end, such as a dumbbell handle with plates on one side only, by the unweighted end.
- Let the arm hang straight by your side with the thumb forward and the weighted end in front of the hand.
- Keeping the arm straight and still, lift the weighted end by cocking the wrist up toward the thumb.
- Lower it under control until the bar points down in front of you.
- Finish the set, then work the other arm.
FORM TIPS
- Only the wrist moves. If the shoulder swings the arm forward to help, the weight is too heavy.
- Grip further from the weighted end to make it harder. Small changes in hand position change the load a lot.
