Wall Walk
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- Lie face down with the feet against a wall and the hands beside the chest, as at the bottom of a push up.
- Press up to a plank and walk the feet up the wall while you walk the hands back toward it.
- Keep going until the chest is close to the wall and you are in a handstand, body straight and ribs down.
- Walk the hands back out and the feet back down the wall in the same small steps until you are lying flat again.
FORM TIPS
- Move one hand at a time and keep the arms locked. Small steps keep the shoulders stacked over the hands and the body tight.
- Come down the same way you went up. Kicking the feet off the wall to get down is how this goes wrong.
