Tuck Jump
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- Stand tall with the feet about hip width.
- Dip into a quarter squat and jump straight up.
- At the top of the jump, pull BOTH knees up toward the chest.
- Drop the feet back down, land soft and rebound into the next rep.
FORM TIPS
- Bringing the knees up is not the same as jumping high: do not settle for tucking harder as the jump gets lower. Stop the set when the height drops off.
TARGET MUSCLES
Primary
- Quads
- Glutes
- Calves
Secondary
- Hamstrings
- Adductors
