Skater Jump
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- Stand on one leg with a soft knee, the other foot behind you and off the floor.
- Push off sideways and jump laterally onto the other foot, swinging the arms across.
- Land on that single leg and absorb it, holding the balance for a beat.
- Bound straight back the other way and keep alternating.
FORM TIPS
- Landing on one leg and controlling it is the point. If you have to put the second foot down, jump less far.
