Single Leg Leg Press Machine
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Machine
HOW TO PERFORM
- Sit in the machine and set one foot in the middle of the platform, the other foot resting on the frame or the floor.
- Lower under control until the working knee is bent to about 90 degrees.
- Press through the whole foot without harshly locking out, finish the reps, then switch legs.
FORM TIPS
- Start well under half your two-leg load. The hips tend to twist toward the free side, so keep both glutes pressed into the seat.
