Ring Bicep Curl
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Rings
HOW TO PERFORM
- Set the rings at about chest height and take one in each hand, palms up.
- Walk the feet forward and lean back with the arms straight out in front, body in a straight line from heels to head.
- Curl the body up toward the hands by bending only the elbows, so the rings travel toward the forehead.
- Lower under control back to straight arms, keeping the upper arms where they started.
FORM TIPS
- The upper arms stay up and still. If they drop toward the sides, the back joins in and it becomes a row.
- Lean back further to make it harder, or stand more upright to make it easier.
- Keep the hips from sagging. The body moves as one straight line.
