Ring Ab Rollout
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Rings
HOW TO PERFORM
- Set rings low and kneel behind them, holding one in each hand with the arms straight.
- Brace hard and let the rings travel forward as the body extends toward the floor.
- Pull back to the start without letting the hips sag or the lower back arch.
FORM TIPS
- Go only as far as you can hold a flat back. The range grows as the brace does.
- Rings are less stable than a wheel, which is what makes this the harder rung.
