Quick Feet
A step-by-step guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the movement and what to watch for.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- Stand in an athletic stance with the feet hip width apart, knees bent and chest slightly forward.
- Stay on the balls of the feet and pump them up and down as fast as you can, lifting each only just off the floor.
- Pump the arms in time with the feet.
- Keep the hips low and level throughout, and keep going for the prescribed time.
FORM TIPS
- Speed comes from short, quick contacts, so keep the feet low instead of lifting the knees.
- End the set when the feet slow down. The drill trains speed, and slow reps add nothing to it.
