Prone Snow Angel
A step-by-step guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the movement and what to watch for.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- Lie face down with the arms by your sides and the forehead resting on a folded towel.
- Draw the shoulder blades back and down and lift the arms and hands just off the floor.
- Keeping them off the floor, sweep the arms out to the sides and up until the hands meet overhead.
- Sweep them back down to your sides along the same path and repeat.
FORM TIPS
- Move slowly and keep the arms hovering the whole time. Where the hands want to touch down is the edge of your range.
- Keep the chin tucked and the legs relaxed so the upper back does the lifting, not the neck.
