Cable Low to High Chest Fly
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Cable
HOW TO PERFORM
- Set both pulleys at the bottom of a cable crossover and stand in the middle with a handle in each hand and one foot slightly forward.
- Start with the arms down and out to the sides, palms facing forward and a slight bend in the elbows.
- Keeping that bend, sweep the hands up and in until they meet in front of the upper chest at about shoulder height.
- Lower them back out and down along the same arc under control.
FORM TIPS
- The upward arc shifts the work toward the upper chest. Stop the hands at shoulder height, because raising them higher hands the work to the front delts.
