Lizard Lunge
A step-by-step guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the movement and what to watch for.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- From a lunge, lower the back knee to the floor and step the front foot out toward the edge of the mat.
- Lower both forearms to the floor inside the front foot.
- Let the hips sink toward the floor and breathe into the stretch at the front of the back hip and the inner thigh of the front leg.
- Hold, then switch sides.
FORM TIPS
- If the forearms do not reach the floor, rest them on a block rather than rounding the back to get there.
