Barbell Landmine Rotation
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Barbell
HOW TO PERFORM
- Set a bar in a landmine and hold the far sleeve in both hands with the arms extended in front of the chest.
- Stand with the feet a little wider than the shoulders and the arms locked out.
- Sweep the bar down and across in an arc toward one hip, pivoting the opposite foot and turning the hips with it.
- Control it back up through the middle and over to the other side.
FORM TIPS
- The arms stay long and the bar travels in an arc. Bending the elbows to swing it faster takes the work off the trunk, which is the only thing this trains.
