Kettlebell Renegade Row
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Kettlebell
HOW TO PERFORM
- Set two kettlebells shoulder width apart and take a push-up position with a hand on each handle, feet wider than the hips.
- Brace the abs and squeeze the glutes so the body is one straight line.
- Row one kettlebell to the side of the ribs, pressing the other into the floor to keep the hips square.
- Set it back down under control, then row with the other hand.
FORM TIPS
- The hips stay square as a bell leaves the floor. If they twist, widen the feet or use lighter bells.
- Press down through the middle of each handle. Leaning the weight to one side tips the bell over.
- One row on each side is two reps.
