Jumping Jacks
A step-by-step guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the movement and what to watch for.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- Stand tall with the feet together and the arms by your sides.
- Jump the feet out wider than the shoulders while sweeping the arms out and up until the hands meet overhead.
- Jump the feet back together as the arms sweep back down to your sides.
- Land softly on the balls of the feet and keep a quick, steady rhythm for the prescribed time.
FORM TIPS
- Keep the knees soft on every landing so the legs absorb it quietly.
- Keep the ribs down as the arms go overhead rather than arching the low back.
