Dumbbell Incline Bicep Hammer Curl
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Dumbbell
HOW TO PERFORM
- Sit back on an incline bench and let the arms hang straight down behind the line of the body.
- Hold the dumbbells with a neutral grip, palms facing each other, and keep it that way throughout.
- Curl up without letting the elbows drift forward, then lower all the way.
FORM TIPS
- Hanging behind the body stretches the biceps at the bottom, so the first inch is the hardest part. Do not cut it short.
TARGET MUSCLES
