HOW TO PERFORM
- Lie sideways on a 45 degree back extension bench with the bottom hip on the pad and the feet stacked under the ankle rollers.
- Cross the arms over the chest.
- Lower the torso sideways toward the floor until you feel a stretch along the top side of the waist.
- Raise the torso by bending the top side until the body is in a straight line.
- Finish the set, then turn over and work the other side.
FORM TIPS
- Move in a straight sideways line. Twisting toward the floor or folding forward hands the work to the back.
- Hold a plate to the chest to add load once 15 controlled reps per side are easy.
