Feet Elevated Inverted Row
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- Set a bar in a rack at about hip height and put a box or bench a body length away from it.
- Lie under the bar, take an overhand grip a little wider than the shoulders and rest the heels on the box, body in a straight line from heels to head.
- Pull the chest to the bar by driving the elbows back, squeezing the shoulder blades together.
- Lower under control to straight arms.
FORM TIPS
- Raising the feet puts more of your weight on the hands than a standard inverted row. Keep the hips level with the shoulders, because they are the first thing to sag.
