Kettlebell (Double) Clean
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Kettlebell
HOW TO PERFORM
- Stand with two kettlebells on the floor just ahead of the feet, hinge down and take a handle in each hand.
- Hike both bells back between the legs, back flat and shoulders pulled down.
- Snap the hips forward and steer the elbows in toward the ribs so the bells travel close to the body.
- Let the hands rotate through the handles so the bells settle in the rack: handles at the collarbones, elbows tucked, wrists straight.
FORM TIPS
- Take a wider stance than for one bell so both bells pass between the knees without hitting them.
