Chin Tuck
A step-by-step guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the movement and what to watch for.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- Sit tall with the shoulders relaxed and the eyes looking straight ahead.
- Glide the chin straight back, as if making a double chin, without tilting the head up or down.
- Hold the tucked position for a slow count of five.
- Release slowly back to the start.
FORM TIPS
- The head moves back, not down. Nodding the chin toward the chest is neck flexion, a different exercise.
- This is a posture drill, so keep it gentle. Frequent light sets do more than a few hard ones.
