Captain's Chair Leg Raise
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Bodyweight
HOW TO PERFORM
- Step into the frame, forearms on the pads and back against the rest, taking your weight through the arms.
- Raise the knees or straight legs toward the chest, curling the hips up slightly at the top.
- Lower under control without letting the back arch off the pad.
FORM TIPS
- The back stays on the pad. Swinging the legs up with the hips loose turns it into a hip-flexor swing.
