A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.

HOW TO PERFORM
- Clip a single handle to the low pulley of a cable stack and stand facing the stack, a short step back.
- Take the handle in one hand, palm up, with the arm straight and the elbow at your side.
- Curl the handle toward the shoulder, keeping the upper arm still, then lower slowly to a straight arm.
- Finish the set and switch arms.
FORM TIPS
- Rest the free hand on the hip so the torso stays square and does not twist to help the rep.
