Cable Reverse Crunch
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Cable
HOW TO PERFORM
- Attach ankle straps to a low cable and lie on your back with the feet toward the stack and the hands flat by your sides.
- Bend the hips and knees to about 90 degrees with tension on the cable.
- Curl the hips off the floor and draw the knees toward the chest.
- Lower slowly until the hips return to the floor, keeping tension on the cable.
FORM TIPS
- The hips have to leave the floor. Pulling the knees in with the hips down is a hip flexor exercise.
