Cable Hip Adduction
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Cable
HOW TO PERFORM
- Strap a cuff to the ankle nearer a low cable pulley and stand side-on to the machine, holding it for balance.
- Let the cable draw the working leg out to the side, then pull it across in front of the standing leg with the knee straight.
- Return under control to the start, finish the reps, then switch legs.
FORM TIPS
- Stand far enough from the machine that the weight stack stays lifted at the start of every rep.
