HOW TO PERFORM
- Stand beside the anvil with the horn pointing forward, next to your working hand.
- Hinge down and close the hand around the horn, with the thumb wrapped over the fingers if it reaches.
- Brace and stand up tall, the arm straight and the anvil hanging at your side.
- Hold for the set time without letting the horn slide, then hinge down and set the anvil back on the floor.
FORM TIPS
- The horn tapers, so the anvil slides toward the tip as the grip tires. Grip as close to the body of the anvil as you can.
- Keep the anvil off your leg and the shoulders level instead of leaning away from it.
