Barbell Landmine Reverse Lunge
A step-by-step form guide from the Ægir Iron exercise library: how to do the lift, what to watch for, and the muscles it trains.
- Equipment
- Barbell
HOW TO PERFORM
- Hold the free end of a loaded landmine bar at your chest with both hands, standing tall and facing the anchor.
- Step one foot back and lower until the back knee is just off the floor, keeping the front shin fairly vertical.
- Drive through the front heel to step back to standing, then step back with the other leg.
FORM TIPS
- The bar's arc pulls you slightly toward the anchor, which makes this lunge easier to balance than one with a free bar.
